My Toastmasters Club

Public speaking has always made me nervous, and I knew that Toastmasters could help me relax and have more fun with it. Still, I didn't join until May of 2012. I found the Flatirons View Toastmasters Club and I instantly felt comfortable with the group. In August of 2013 I reached my first goal of obtaining Competent Communicator (CC) recognition. I also won Toastmaster of the Year for 2012. I hold the Vice President Public Relations position as an officer through June of 2015, and I have been Vice President Education and Sergeant at Arms in previous years. I am lucky to know a fantastic bunch of talented speakers, and I look forward to learning a lot from my fellow club members.
